Pansies Satin Stitcha Cross Stitch Kit by Riolis

I'm taking the plunge with this one, and buying it knowing very little about how to do embroidery. It is marked stamped cross stitch, but I don't think it's cross stitch at all. Does anyone have any experience with doing this style of needlework and if so, is it difficult? I'm thinking it looks like a basic satin stitch and not much else, but I guess I'll find out when it arrives. Feel free to jump in here and give me some feedback. Thanks.
