Does anyone know what a good size is to use for mill head bead and buttons kits? I am thinking 8" because I think the finish product is 8" sq.

I have never used Stretcher Bars before. How big of bars do you get ...the size of your finished work or an inch larger? Also, how do you attached to your fabric?
