Rhode Island Mapa Cross Stitch Pattern by Sue Hillis Designs

This is not a pattern for beginners! I have done Connecticut map - a fairly quick project. Rhode Island, however, is very time-consuming because the area to the right (the east coast) is tedious because of all the color switches (3 blues, 3 'browns'). I did this and CT with 28 count linen (I don't like Aida cloth's appearance) and both maps end up being quite large. I would have preferred something smaller but RI would have been really tedious on a higher count linen. I'm not sure the 'products' displayed are actually accurate for the state - all 3 patterns (I'm also doing Hawaii) use the same products!! Hopefully my daughter will like the RI & CT maps for her two homes.
