Rose Sonataa Cross Stitch Pattern by Jan Hicks Creates

Stitch Count: 119 × 119 14 ct (over 1) or 28 ct (over 2) - 8.5 x 8.5 in. 18 ct (over 1) or 36 ct (over 2) - 6.6 x 6.6 in. 16 ct (over 1) or 32 ct (overt 2) - 7.4 x 7.4 in. 40 ct (over 2) - 6 x 6 in. Rose Sonata has a long history. It started as a mixed media design in 2020, but it didn't work as I had hoped. I next worked it as a design with the same main elements and a still life feel. I wasn't happy with that either, so it went into time out for 3 years. I pulled it out last fall and totally reworked it and I'm thrilled with the outcome. The rich colors of the roses, echoed in the border creates a gorgeous palette that is a joy to stitch. The model is stitched on 40ct Carpet Bag Med Lt by Mason Linens using Hand-dyed fibers silk floss. A DMC conversions is also provided. Please note that DMC will not give the same look as the silks.
