This is a simple pattern. It was expensive to buy the special floss as well as the buttons. I do love the project but if I knew how much the buttons would be I probably would not have bought this pattern.

The pattern itself is cute and easy... the biggest headache is the materials used for the project... unless you find your own colors and buttons, the places to order these things from are difficult, as they don't ship from their sites without paperwork and lots of waiting. You have to find retailers that sell these items, and there were none near me within an hour and a half radius. So off button and thread hunting I go for something similar...

floss conversion
On this pattern it says that there is a DMC floss conversion and when i opened it the was not a conversion chart in it. I would like that please. I love the pattern but don't have the money to buy the floss that is on your site. please help me out.

Disappointed in the Snow Fence pattern
I have not stitched the Snow Fence pattern yet, as I am waiting for the floss to arrive. I was disappointed to find that the hats for the snowmen were buttons, (I couldn't tell that when I ordered the pattern). I can't fine the buttons on line in three of the sites I have looked at. Also, the snowmen noses are polymer clay...couldn't find anything like that on line, so will have to make my own. Probably wouldn't have ordered this pattern if I had known these items weren't available.
