Perfect
I love this hoop. The wood has rounded edges that don't cut into my hand. Its very good quality. It doesn't hold the fabric really tight which is good when you worry about fabric creases and thread crimping. I ordered the larger size, and it works great with my current large project.

Best and easiest frame of cross stitch project
Would like to hear opinions on the best frames for holding cross stitch projects (9x12 14 Count Aida).
Have tried stitch onto roll bars, don't like that if it is not perfectly even, project winds up on the bars like a shade that doesn't go up evenly.
Have tried sliding rod into bars to hold fabric, but it left a crease mark that was hard to get out, since it was a very long project to finish, and I did not unwind it every time,
Tried q-snap tubing type frame but it kept loosening up and not holding the fabric taut for very long, and had to keep re-threading the fabric to tighten it up again.
So, if there is no ideal frame, I will have to decide which problem I can live with that gives the least frustration.
Hopefully, Everything Cross Stitch can source it; if not, I will go where need to obtain it.
