using contrasting colors with DMC floss
Would like to do this seahorse pattern in 2 or 3 contrasting colors. Does anyone know of any "rule of thumb" I can use when I'm deciding to use 2 or 3 colors? Should I keep the contrasting colors in the same DMC color range by going 2 up or down from my darkest floss color? Or should I use the "color wheel" that many interior decorators and landscapers use?
