Two Blue Birds Samplera Cross Stitch Pattern by Jan Hicks Creates

Stitch Count: 152 x 149 14 ct (over 1) or 28 ct (over 2) - 10.9 x 10.6 in. 16 ct (over 1) or 32 ct (over 2) - 9.5 x 9.3 in. 18 ct (over 1) or 36 ct (over 2) - 8.4 x 8.3 in. 40 ct (over 2) - 7.6 x 7.5 in. Two Blue Birds Sampler started as a reproduction of an antique sampler I found at a flea market in Saumur, France. The words down at the bottom say "Gift for Mother". I reproduced it faithfully, but decided that that wasn't what it wanted to be. SoI played and playe and played some more until I finally found a palette and design that | wanted to stitch. I love how it turned out and I hope you do, too! The model is stitched on 40ct Steinbeck by Needle and Flax using the overdyed floss as listed. A conversion to DMC is also provided. Alternative fabrics: This design will look good on many colors. You can use neutrals in the brown/gold range, using darker or lighter colors.
