Good Sunday morning everyone. I actually slept in to after 5 a.m. Yesterday we made Italian beef sandwiches and cheesecake. The cheesecake is something for Bryan because I won't eat another piece of it, but it was good. And....I stitched on "Lady Seated at her Needlework". Looking at my cross stitch journal I started her exactly one year ago and have finished 10 out of 25 pages. So much easier reading those Artecy patterns! ECS has shipped my new mermaid pattern and it won't be here till Tuesday now because tomorrow is Columbus Day. Have a Sunday filled with serenity and peace!

Good Saturday morning everyone. I am afraid the Teresa Wentzler Mermaid is getting the deep six. I absolutely do not have the patience, so I substituted for a new mermaid pattern by Artecy called "The Mermaid and the Ship". I ordered the small cropped version and am getting the 101 threads together as I wait for this pattern to arrive. I'm going to do it on 16 ct. It is not worth the aggravation and I like to enjoy my stitching. No regrets. This isn't the first time I have trashed a project and it probably won't be the last time. Anyone else ever do this? Anyway that's my morning so far and I am enjoying my time in the new uncluttered hobby room/office. Have an excellent day!

Good finally Friday morning everyone. This week has gone by very fast. Yesterday was faucet changing day and next it will be the bathroom faucet. We hooked up the humidifier, change filters because the dry air is too much. Next it will be the carpet cleaning. Today is a shopping day and finally finishing "The Crow". So a finally Friday day to everyone and looking forward to a more relaxing weekend!
