GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind THURSDAY
Good Thursday morning everyone. Well, here's the good news. Poppy doesn't have Lyme's, but the antibody shows up that she was exposed to it. Her fever is gone, she's eating, active, and back to her Poppy self. We still do not have the results of her urine test to check for proteins. Apparently, she may have a flu virus. I wish the vet would call us with the results. Tomorrow is Bryan's check-up with the ENT specialist to see what the next course of action is. I apologize for talking about all the medical stuff lately, but it's been pretty prevalent around here this year. Stitching has been my solace and I appreciate all of you that visit the daily post! Have a thankful Thursday!

Thursday
Morning!
Been a busy week here in Minnesota, mowing lawn, dealing with 90 degree temps with 64% humidity not fun. Been taking a break from the cardinal and working on my Halloween one that I started a long time ago, it is coming along pretty good. Hope everyone is doing well. Going for a haircut today as the last two appointments have been cancelled. Still hot the rest of this week and into next but the humidity has dropped some. Have a great weekend!

Started a New Pattern
From the Sprouting Lupine. It is called “Witching Hour Nature Walk.” Not my usual choice of stitching. I do not do Halloween stuff but I think this is supposed to be what you would see at a nature walk at “the witching hour” meaning midnight, I guess. I could not resist the deep purple flower. This is the picture on the pattern. Will show mine, hopefully on Monday, but I am back to work by then. Here is the pattern picture:
Christian Stitchers Daily Chat
Good Morning
Leviticus 27: 27- 34
27 But if is among the unclean animals, then he shall redeem it
according to your assessment and add to it a fifth of it; and if
it is not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your assessment.
28 Nevertheless, anything which someone sets apart to the Lord for
destruction out of all that he has, of man or animal or the field of
his own property, shall not be sold nor redeemed. Anything set apart
for destruction is most holy to the Lord.
29 No one who may have been set apart among mankind shall be ransomed;
he must be put to death.
30 Now all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree,
is the Lord's; it is holy to the Lord.
31 If, therefore, someone should ever want to redeem part of his tithe,
he shall add to it a fifth of it.
32 For every tenth part of herd or flock, whatever passes under rod,
the tenth one shall be holy to the Lord.
33 He is not to be concerned whether it is good or bad, nor shall he
exchange it; yet if he does exchange it, then both it and its substitute
shall become holy. It shall not be redeemed.' ''
34 These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses
for the sons of Israel on Mount Sinai.
Have A Bless Day!

Raven and Mouse Cross Stitch
Hi all. Except for 2 strings that will show the raven pulling the shed, it is done. A recap- my sister gave me the pattern for Christmas 2025, and due to your advice- I asked her to buy me the fabric, which she graciously gave me. I made a number of changes- the snow- both in the “air” and “ground” are a combo of B5200 floss, Kreinik braid#4, and petite and regular white beads. I added red beads to the tree instead of stitching them, and I used the Kreinik +B5200 on the gifts and the “bows” are beads. The snowflake on the gift under the mouse is a Just Another Button button. 😆 Finally, the white parts of the raven and mouse Santa hats are white Bella Lusso Fleur de Paris. It took a while, but I made it my own. I love it, and it gave me a chance to thank my sister again. Let me know what you think. Here it is…
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind WEDNESDAY
Good Wednesday morning everyone. Today Poppy goes back to the vet for a procedure to test protein in her urine. Apparently they insert a small needle. The test is to see if the Lyme's has affected her kidneys. We are on pins and needles and hope it hasn't affected them. On the upside she hasn't taken the gabapentin and is her usual active self, no fever, and eating and drinking normally. So, I get to stay here with Buddy and entertain him while they're away. I can't believe it's the middle of the week already! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind TUESDAY
Good Tuesday morning everyone. I hope all of you enjoyed the long weekend. We changed our minds and bbq'd baby back ribs instead of making a ham. The weather was perfect with not a cloud in the sky and 82 degrees. It was so nice after weeks of dreary gray, cold, and rain. Today promises to be the same. It's a trip to the store for those things you run out of at the end of the month. I am excited that I am almost finished with the second to last row on "Lady", too. I looked in my cross stitch journal and I've been working on her since October of 2024! Have a terrific Tuesday!
