Happy Saturday everyone! Yesterday we went to our new meat market in Buchannan, MI and found sound great deals. Enjoyed a porterhouse steak last night with enough left over for fajitas. We got fresh ground sirloin for $2.99 a pound. Love our new place to go. Today is more yard work and outside time and stitching. I think spring is finally trying to spring. Have a good Saturday!

Good it's already Tuesday morning everyone. Buddy's birthday was fun and a lot of extra play time yesterday and the weather cooperated. I didn't stitch yesterday and that's OK with me. I have other interests like playing my piano, reading, gardening, and as of late creating old recipes into healthier versions. Down 26 pounds in a little over 4 months. What other interests do you guys have when stitching just isn't on the agenda for the day? Have a good second day of the week!

Its been so long I think a month....I've been stitching and going for a dress my hubby and I will be married 25 yrs I. 2 weeks 🤯. Yep can't believe it.... roller coasters have nothing on us ....uphill both ways but we survived so much we are so blessed with our families and long time friends and this forum who help him not need to call 911 when he's really miffing me off. Not working is not my friend .... The not working is because my health took a side step again....nothing tragic just a spot on my nose that wasn't what I thought it was.... Yep me couch potato, porch monkey after 6pm extra spf 50+....I was just diagnosed with thank goodness it's only basal cell skin cancer...the biopsy was done Tuesday and the MOHS surgery hasn't been scheduled yet....all started from what I thought was a scratch on the side of my nose during beginning of COVID..it would heal and then it just honestly looked like small pearl like a water blister....until about March and I used a different soap and I thought it just was a skin reaction nope....then 10 days ago, it started hurting...it never hurt before....so I scheduled with my dermatologist, even.my primary had been thinking it was just a skin tag....I have a few... Well my lovelys PLEASE wear Hats, sunglasses and SPF.... skin cancer is not cure or sexy. Lotion up even on a cloudy day.....ohhhh ...oh no I feel a Motown hit song coming on...🥰☺️😎. To the mothers in the forum Happy Mother's Day, if you not and your an auntie still Happy Mother's Day if your just a fur baby 's mom they better take care of you too. TFL-Chris

hi this is my first time here and need help with purchasing material. I'm working on a picture that is 40" x 15".. I'd like to use Aida 14ct in either natural or white and when I calculate the quantity needed it shows 44" x 20". I'd like something firm so I don't need to use a hoop. Happy Friday everyone! Looks like we're in for a lovely, warm weekend and I may plant my annuals and some more hostas in the front of the house since it's the north side of the house. I love being outside and after being held captive by winter, I'm soaking it up. Have a lovely day and weekend.
