Machines
Keep breaking around me. First the car, then the water spigots for the washing machine, and today my cell phone. It is 8 years old. The screen went black while I was using it. It refused to recharge. I tried cleaning out the plug in site, 3 different charge cords, and 3 different wall sockets. I went to the cell phone provider store. He couldn’t charge it with the electrical cord or wirelessly. It’s gone and since it won’t turn on again, there is no way to transfer contacts or photos to eventual new phone. I went to the store alone just to get some information and to confirm my phone really was dead.
I don’t pay extra for on line storage of photos. Some of them were transferred to our laptop but not all. There were a lot of grandchildren pictures sent by text message. I literally sat in the car and cried realizing how many photos I have lost. All these broken things that need replacing come with a price tag, and I’m just so exasperated with it all. I miss cameras with film and landline telephones. Back when times were simpler. Technology really irks me sometimes. But if there was no internet, I wouldn’t be able to reach out to all of you.
It’s been a rough day for me. Thank you for listening, friends.

Christian Stitchers Daily 7/1/25
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind MONDAY
Happy Monday morning everyone! There's something about the start of a new week that makes me think of all the possibilities a new week brings. Yes, I'm an optimist. I can't believe I spent the entire month stitching on just one project and I'm at the halfway point. I had days I didn't stitch at all. Today is a rest day after all the garage cleaning and more clearing of our space. I love to lighten the load. It's stuffed pepper night tonight and inside chores. Have a great week!
