Good Saturday morning everyone. Good news!!! No signs of squamous cells where Bryan had surgery, perfect lymph nodes, and he goes back in another 2 months. The ENT was thrilled with how well everything has healed. Now the fun part. We heard a commotion in the yard and Buddy and Poppy were in full chase of a huge groundhog! Buddy was nipping at its tail and Bryan ran out there to make sure no one got bit. The fat thing dug a quick hole and went under the fence. So a little excitement this morning. Poppy is right back to her Poppy self and this week is closing on a much better note! Have a satisfying Saturday and enjoy the day!

Good Tuesday morning everyone. I hope all of you enjoyed the long weekend. We changed our minds and bbq'd baby back ribs instead of making a ham. The weather was perfect with not a cloud in the sky and 82 degrees. It was so nice after weeks of dreary gray, cold, and rain. Today promises to be the same. It's a trip to the store for those things you run out of at the end of the month. I am excited that I am almost finished with the second to last row on "Lady", too. I looked in my cross stitch journal and I've been working on her since October of 2024! Have a terrific Tuesday!

From the Sprouting Lupine. It is called “Witching Hour Nature Walk.” Not my usual choice of stitching. I do not do Halloween stuff but I think this is supposed to be what you would see at a nature walk at “the witching hour” meaning midnight, I guess. I could not resist the deep purple flower. This is the picture on the pattern. Will show mine, hopefully on Monday, but I am back to work by then. Here is the pattern picture:

Good Friday morning everyone. Yes, it's finally Friday. Got a great discount ordering the Nexgard through our Chewy autoship that we have. Today is Bryan's appointment and hoping that goes as well as the issue with Poppy. I am almost finished with the second to last row of "Lady Seated at her Needlework". The final row isn't full pages so I am really hoping for a finish next month. Staying focused is keeping me calm. Have a fabulous Friday everyone and enjoy the day!

Sounds like you had a really nice visit, if you need some one to spoil I am available lol. I have always wanted to try a Boston Cream Pie they look so good. I am with you on the not liking summer I am more of a fall person, that is when I like to camp and be outdoors. I am glad you are getting the much needed rain. It is very enjoying for me to have some good friends to talk with on here don't really have any here just one and she is a caregiver to her husband that is very sick (long story) so I don't have anyone to chat with besides Gracie my cat and she only talks when she wants food or treats. Good Thursday morning everyone. Well, here's the good news. Poppy doesn't have Lyme's, but the antibody shows up that she was exposed to it. Her fever is gone, she's eating, active, and back to her Poppy self. We still do not have the results of her urine test to check for proteins. Apparently, she may have a flu virus. I wish the vet would call us with the results. Tomorrow is Bryan's check-up with the ENT specialist to see what the next course of action is. I apologize for talking about all the medical stuff lately, but it's been pretty prevalent around here this year. Stitching has been my solace and I appreciate all of you that visit the daily post!
