Machines
Keep breaking around me. First the car, then the water spigots for the washing machine, and today my cell phone. It is 8 years old. The screen went black while I was using it. It refused to recharge. I tried cleaning out the plug in site, 3 different charge cords, and 3 different wall sockets. I went to the cell phone provider store. He couldn’t charge it with the electrical cord or wirelessly. It’s gone and since it won’t turn on again, there is no way to transfer contacts or photos to eventual new phone. I went to the store alone just to get some information and to confirm my phone really was dead.
I don’t pay extra for on line storage of photos. Some of them were transferred to our laptop but not all. There were a lot of grandchildren pictures sent by text message. I literally sat in the car and cried realizing how many photos I have lost. All these broken things that need replacing come with a price tag, and I’m just so exasperated with it all. I miss cameras with film and landline telephones. Back when times were simpler. Technology really irks me sometimes. But if there was no internet, I wouldn’t be able to reach out to all of you.
It’s been a rough day for me. Thank you for listening, friends.
Strawberry Quilt Doily
What do you do when you know how to quilt, hand sew, and crochet? Make a quilt doily of course! I watched a class on the technique a few weeks ago. Last Saturday my vision returned to let me crochet again, with Aunt Lydia's Fashion 3 crochet thread even! I've already started on a second one with a lemon theme. Fruit is so cute! I hope I never forget how grateful I am to be able to read, sew, and crochet again.

Prayer: Lord, I know that you hear our prayers and questions. Remind me to listen to your answers.
Flexible thimbles
Does anyone know how effective these are for gripping and controlling the needle? I’ve used the Clover brand but they are a bit pricey. I have MS and it’s a bit challenging to grip the needles. Thank you for any feedback you may have.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening
Today is Sunday ……………………………………………….. Good Morning, MJ 💕
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SUNDAY
Good Sunday morning everyone. Spent most of the day stitching on the deck and helping Bryan with the reorganizing of the two garages. We called our friend who hauls scrap and he was very happy with his haul. I think the outside chores are finished except for getting our gutter cleaned. One thing nice about a small cottage is it is easier to care for. Today will be spent relaxing and finishing the Italian beef so no cooking! Have a serene and peaceful Sunday.
Help - lost stitch/color key to old pattern
I lost the stitch/color key to an old pattern, and if anyone has such I would appreciate getting a copy. The kit is 6872-The Gold Collection Petites "Fanciful Butterfly", 6"x6" on 18-count ivory Aida. It could be 25 years old.
RIP Ryan Hurst
He played on The Dukes of Hazzard as Cletus Hogg.

By faith Noah when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.
