Advice/opinions needed
Hi, everyone. I’m seeking your expertise. My oldest snapon, 18 years old, needs fixed or replaced. Before I spend any money I need some input of what others have done. My Choices are 1) just replace it, 2) replace the side bars as they’re stretched out 3) buy some of those clip ons to hold the side bars in place, 4) buy a set of those nurge hoops. The clip ons would be the cheapest way to go, but do they work? Thank you in advance for any and all input. You guys are the best!!!
PDF
I would like this in a PDF version so I can use Pattern Keeper. When I place my order how can specify the PDF?
Tradewinds
Hi.
I have been looking for the pattern for Tradewinds by Teresa Wentzler for a long time. Can you confirm it is still available and that a list of the dmc colours are also included?
Thank you
Christine
RIP Malcolm-Jamal Warner
Always enjoyed his portrayal of Theo Huxtable. Only 54 years old - far too young.
Bookmark finishing
How do you finish a bookmark? The edges and back need to be covered with fabric or something. Do any of the bookmark patterns or kits include directions or materials for this?

working with ease
After stitching with 18 , and or 14 count cloth, I am no longer at ease as I stitch. Although I have had cataract surgery and my eyes are fine now, I find that these counts are not pleasing to me. Maybe the lighting is not appropriate...or , I just don't know. I detest wearing those contraptions around my neck to magnify. So I found a solution. Yes, yes, yes, 11 count. I tried that and I love it. No strain and easy and fun. Especially with children's patterns and using 3 strands of yarn, makes the pictures pop ! I love it. No mure frustration. So I found that doing yourself a favor and doing ONLY what makes you happy is more important than trying to keep up with something that only irritates you....is more inportant...agree ? So there !!!i
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind MONDAY
Good late start for me Monday morning everyone. I watched a movie until after 11:00 last night and slept in to 7:00. That's late for me. Had an excellent conversation with my older sister yesterday and she's sending me a mermaid figurine because my birth mother loved them. She had four of them, one for each daughter. I'm the youngest, so now the littlest one is mine since we've reconnected. Still stitching on "Octopus Garden" and can't believe how fast the month is going. Have a merry Monday!
New to the Forum
Hi all, my name is Steve and I live in Herefordshire, UK.
Personally I do not cross stitch myself, although I do create cross stitch patterns.
I will not post any links to my patterns or try to advertise on this forum.
Just looking for inspiration and a chat.
Looking forward to chatting with you soon.

Asian quilt progress
Getting there. Almost enough pieces cut. I’ve started sewing it together.
It was cool in the basement in the past heatwave.
