Good Tuesday morning everyone. The wind has died down, but it's very cold this morning and we have to go out to Bryan's annual eye doctor appointment. 2026 is going to be a year where we reschedule all appointments for the spring, summer, or fall. These winter appointments are not fun. Finished page 2 of my mermaid yesterday, watched a few "Father Knows Best" reruns and finished 6 loads of laundry because of all the dog blankets. We wanted to share a quick update and thank you for your patience and understanding. Our shop was closed from December 24th–29th, and during that time no orders were placed with our distributors. Many of our distributors were also closed for the holidays, so we’re currently navigating a bit of post-holiday floss chaos now that everyone is back in the office. (Well, almost everyone, lol! We're also working with a bit of a skeleton crew so yours truly is doing order fulfilment this week!) While we do our best to keep plenty of stitchy goodness in stock for smooth and speedy shipping, space is limited and many items need to be ordered in. Because of this, some orders may experience slight shipping delays as we wait for our items to come in and we get everything back into rhythm. We’re also seeing USPS transit and delivery delays due to the holiday rush. Unfortunately, those delays are outside of our control, and we always recommend contacting your local post office if there are any concerns with transit or delivery. 📦 Thank you again for your patience, understanding, and continued support while we stitch our way through this busy season. How do I know how much and what colors of floss I need for this pattern .? Could you maket it a "kit". Thanks, I am new to your site

I found a Christmas stocking kit, right facing ‘riding high Santa’ does the pattern have a place for a name at the top, if so what is the full length of the finished stocking? Thank you Kathy

I think I have asked this before but can't seem to find the answer... A while ago I received a large cross stitch stash from someone who can no longer stitch Among the stash was a large piece of davos(a) in a lovely shade of golden yellow. I've stitched on aids, linen, lugana, jobelan but never davosa... I need some some pointers. Do I stitch over one or two? How many plies of thread? I've found a really lovely autumn scene I think would look beautiful on this piece of material but I don't know if it will work. Though I've been cross stitching for over 40 years, I'm at a loss here!! Any advice will be much appreciated. Many thanks.😊

I lost the instructions for this stocking and I need to have them so I can complete the stocking . I have completed every thin except the Teddy Bear. I hope you can send me just the instructions, I have everything else. I am an 88 year old great grand mother making this stocking for my great grand daughter.

Good very windy Monday morning everyone. We went from 62 degrees yesterday to 24 degrees this morning with a skiff of snow. The wind is howling and the dogs did not want to go outside. Thankfully we are stocked up on potty pads. Yesterday we watched the squirrels go crazy running back and forth. I've observed that squirrels are a good indicator of when we're in for bad weather. Today I'm making the Italian vegetable soup and stitching on the mermaid, doing laundry, and staying inside. Have a good week. Winter has only just begun!
