Good to be back! Usually cats don't care for a bath, Gracie wasn't really dirty only had a burrdock on her tail but I have a dry shampoo that I gave her a once over with. She slept the next day all the next night would not leave my side. Today is the first she really has moved around more played a little. I think mostly she was hungry five days without food, treats or water was a long time, she drank a lot of water the first few day and took it real slow with the food intake but back to normal now. As far as the garden it seems to be coming along ok weeds are growing like crazy because of the rain we had. It isn't so much the squirrels as the rabbits and deer, so far everything is in good shape. We can and pickle our beets and most of the other vegetables we freeze and my brother makes sauerkraut and then we freeze that also. We have blueberries, and raspberries too we freeze plus the apple trees. Hope you are having a great day and I enjoy talking with you. Holly

Morning Everyone! Today started out a bit rainey. But the sun is shing bright now, beautiful. I have made from scratch a crock pot of spaghetti for supper tonight and of course some garlic bread. Miss Gracie is sitting in the sun. All is good in Minnesota. Thank you all for the prayers and kind wods yesterday and today.

Good Tuesday morning everyone. I'm up early this morning and I love the quiet. This morning is the dreaded dentist and then the rest of the day should be a lot easier. It's been pretty routine around here lately, and I'll take it. I hope the second half of the year is a lot kinder when it comes to health issues. Have a terrific Tuesday!

Good Morning Everyone! It has been a rough week for me found out i have 2 cousins in hospice. Then last Sunday my Gracie pushed through the sliding door screen. She is a indoor cat only, doesen't have any front claws and no teeth. She is so near and dear to me, she helped me thru my mothers passing and many other things. I had almost given up on finding her but we set a live trap, called her constantly, left the sliding door open at night everthing we could think of and no Gracie. Then on the 4th day i saw her on the back porch at around 11pm but she ran. The next night i put food out and cracked the back door open i went to bed around 9pm fell asleep next i heard a faint meow woke up and called her name she jumped on my bed and hasen't left me yet. Five days on the lam no food or water. I thank God for her safe coming home. I am back working the cardinal. Holly

Good Monday morning everyone! Looking forward to another week. It's dental visit for a scaling tomorrow and again next week to finish the job. Then the dreaded visit for my annual derm skin check. I want to get these appointments out of the way before my trip on the 15th of July. My "Summer Cardinals" is coming along well and should have a finish soon. I ordered one of those boxes from 123 where you stitch something on the top for my sister's birthday gift. I hope that arrives today. Thats my week so far.
