You’ve ever found a “lost” needle? I found this one in a slipper last night…it was in that space between the inner sole, and the side….its not a color I’m using currently….so it’s been there for a minute…

Morning everyone! First let me whine about how exhausted I am! Too many activities & running around with the GS all weekend and then laundry, etc. His other GP's graciously had him a birthday party yesterday at their place & overall it was a good day. We went early to help her with things since she is still recovering from shoulder surgery. Good food...good company and lots of fun......until.....my GS & one of his buddies put the boxing gloves on. My GS was over-confident so to speak. The other kid had 20 lbs on him and one heck of a right punch! All is good now, but we all jumped up and ran to him when he was literally knocked to the ground. His eyes were glazed over, bright red face & swollen nose. End of match! Got an ice pak & did the concussion check. Made him sit for a bit but then they were all up & running around again. His parents had left about 10 minutes prior to that & I was dreading calling them in case we had to go to the ER. He seemed ok and I checked on him during the night. And he's lucky this morning....no bruises or blackeye.... so, it was off to school with him. I'm sure they'll all be talking about it today! Good time with only one mishap!! My coffee has not kicked in yet so I'm one tired person. Hopefully the workday will be good & go by fast. Thankfully I have beef bbq & rolls along with baked beans so it will be a quick dinner tonite. My happy moment was opening the back door this morning to a cool breeze and low temp! I feel fall coming soon!! Have a happy day everyone!!

Hello friends! This morning I received this email from ECS announcing that DMC is raising their prices starting September 1. I wanted to pass this news along in case some folks do not receive the newsletter. This will help in planning orders in August. Picture is attached.

Good Monday morning everyone. Spent a very quiet, uneventful weekend, which was fine with us. I'm going through my floss stash to get an order together before September 1 today. It's very fall-like today and decided to make a pot roast in the crock pot and keep the day for stitching. Wishing everyone an excellent week!
