Most of my friends who have had cats (including my son who has had 4 ) think I am absolutely insane because I take my cat (MICI ) to the vet every year for a wellness exam. She is 6 years old. Two years ago she had her teeth cleaned and regular exam.....with anti biotic medicine...Yes, expensive $1,500....Last week , again teeth cleaned ,one extraction, exam, claws trimmed...the works, I was quoted another $1,500, But this time I opted for a wellness plan for $61 per month which covered her cleaning. My friends think I am goofy . They never took their cats to the vet and lived a very very long time. But I am thinking, how could they know what kind of pain their cats were in ? Their answer was..." MY goodness, Paula, they're only cats " ! I think that is awful. My answer is that if you have an animal, that poor creature is entirely in your care and she (or he) deserves to be treated well. They are part of your family and should be well cared for no mater what the cost.

Good Sunday morning everyone. Feeling a lot better today, but this "crud" is still lingering. We will finally get our weather cool off next Thursday. This heat and going in and out of air conditioning sure doesn't help. I say come on fall! I did stitch a little bit yesterday on "Meanie Weenies", but it was a lay low kind of day. Today I hope I feel much better. Have a restful Sunday!

Good Saturday morning everyone. Feeling a little better this morning and I'll be glad when this sore throat/achy/tired illness passes me by. I suppose it could have been worse and I should be grateful for that. Today it's back to "Meanie Weenies" and some Mrs. Grass soup. Also looking at the fall patterns on ECS. So many choices! Have a good weekend.

My daughter is working on Marlin Painting and is more than 3/4 done. She lost the key! Does anyone happen to have the key? W have all of the actual pattern but I don’t see an option to repurchase just that part.
