Good Saturday morning everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying their long Labor Day weekend. It's been quiet the last couple of days and I hope it stays that way through the weekend. Still stitching on "Harvest Basket" and waiting for my JCS magazine. My subscription is good until 2028, but for some reason cannot access it on-line. Maybe it will come today. Have a satisfying Saturday.

I am weaning Sewn Blessings Fabric & Gifts, LLC off Etsy and having an independent website built! The transition will take 1-2 years to migrate my customer base from Etsy to the store. The best privilege of having an independent online store is I will have fabric reps help me curate my collection. Many won’t work with marketplace owners. I get to see the 2026 Thanksgiving/Christmas prints starting September 25 and have first pick of the inventory, a good three months before the public and Etsy owners can place their pre-orders. The grand opening is September 20, four months after the eye surgery and the day my good results are considered permanent. I can’t contain my excitement!

what is your favorite holiday? What is your favorite holiday to stitch? Mine is Halloween anything and everything that has a Halloween theme. I can't watch scary movies or cross stitch anything remotely terrifying but I can stitch patterns like boo butterfly, still working on that.

I’m just wondering if anyone else ordered this pamphlet. I got mine today, and when I opened it up to look at the instructions, I noticed it was printed upside down. I got a good laugh about it. Everything is fine as far as the printing is concerned, it’s just upside down. 🙃 😊☺️ Here’s a photo of it. 😊😃
