Two Weddings ❤️ 👰🏽♀️ 🤵🏽
In two months are on our calendar. The first one we’ve known about since June, and it is this Saturday. A relative has decided to marry his wife in a Catholic wedding. We are not in the wedding party. Guests are asked to dress semi-formal. The groom asked us if we would be the couple who presents the gifts of bread and wine during the Mass. We said yes. It is such an honor. I’ve attached a picture from the internet that explains it better than I can.
The second wedding of a friend happens at the end of November. It is an out of town wedding. The wedding invitation says casual attire. We’ve been told boots and jeans is acceptable. This is Texas. No problem! Road trip!
It is fun to have happy occasions to look forward to! 😊
Need prays!
Today I got some sad news. My stepfather found out today that he has got prostate cancer.
He will be taking treatment. It is shocking to know this. So, my family need prays. So, tell your
husband, son, friend to get check.

Just asking one last time - is anyone else still having problems?
Still Here…One Year Later
Good morning ☀️ everyone. One year ago today, at this very time, I was waiting for my family to take me to the hospital for a full hysterectomy due to endometrial cancer. Had the full robotic surgery- which I completely recommend- and then had to deal with the rest, which was not easy. Did not have a lot of time to process the diagnosis, and to be honest, I tried to ignore it all during this year. Just kept going. But I take time today to thank the Lord because I received the best news possible afterwards, and to date, I seem to be ok. I am having hip pains that no one has been able to diagnose. But I could have spent a large part of the year doing chemo and radiation, which I did not have to do because they “think” they got it all. Still checking up on me, fingers crossed, 🤞 I guess. I am grateful for my family- especially my sisters- who were there for me. ☺️ One of my sisters has called me EVERY DAY since my surgery. Every day. My brother-in-law and my nephew. Can’t forget my nephew. My niece was away, but my nephew was wonderful. 🥰 I want to thank all of you who wished me well and who have been supportive to me. It really helped to reach out to you. The year went by fast. I do not know what the future holds. But I am still here. A little melancholy today. Melancholia and gratefulness are a weird combo, but as you age in life, some things do not surprise you. Have a good day. And thank you… 🥹

Cross stitch or crochet
she always finds her comfortable spot in the middle of it. Love her so much. I am on the last four squares on my SIL's afghan. I thought it was done yesterday but when I whipstitched it together both DH and I thought it wasn't wide enough plus it looked more like a rectangle then a square. We both thought 4 more squares should make it big enough and look more square. Sometimes you just have to modify a pattern. 😁

Christian Stitchers Daily 9/9/25
Sorry for the late post we left home super early to be with my husband's sister as she had emergency surgery in Evansville which is 2 and 1/2 hour drive from us.
Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people. And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind TUESDAY
Good Tuesday morning everyone. New refrigerator is working like a charm and it has a lot more room. We spent most of the day deep cleaning the kitchen and rearranging everything inside. So, it was pizza delivery later -- a thin crust from Marco's. I did get all my leaves stitched yesterday and today it's backstitching and "Harvest Basket" will be finished. Have a terrific Tuesday!
Finished
Finished these 3: the doorbell is a gift for a friend, the gingerbread men are a gift to another friend & the "Warrior" is for a 3rd for friend. All going to get framed.
Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening
Today is Tuesday ……………………………………………… Good Morning, MJ 💕

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind MONDAY
Good full moon Monday morning everyone. Today the new refrigerator gets delivered so I'll be busy cleaning behind this one and doing our kitchen floor. I think I like practical gifts that we can both enjoy. It's not a fancy fridge, simple, stainless steel, functional with no bells and whistles. I think today will be the day I finish "Harvest Basket" I just have to stitch 8 more leaves and backstitch them. Getting itchy to go work on the mermaid or the lady seated at her needlework. Have a marvelous Monday and a great week.
