Good Friday morning everyone. Poppy report: She's popping around again, but not as much as she used to, but she is definitely on the mend. I finally received my fall issue of JCS Magazine and love the issue. Yesterday I started the mini autumn sampler. Of course I made some color changes on the alphabet to be more colorful, but I should finish it today. Today should be a quiet day and still keeping an eye on Poppy. Have a fabulous Friday!

Good Thursday morning everyone. First the good news, Poppy is up walking, slowly but surely. The vet said she has a pulled muscle and no nerve or disc damage. We are still carrying her up and down stairs and she's still doing a lot of rest. Next the sad news, I found out that our Hayjax (the other Chris) passed away this past June. I really loved her humor, which she kept, in spite of her many health issues. I enjoyed her stories about Blue and she was a wealth of cross stitch information. She was open-minded and navigated political differences with much grace and kept an open mind about others with different opinions. I still have the recipe she e-mailed me for pineapple/zucchini bread. It's hard to believe, but you really do form relationships on here with people you have never met, yet you feel they are an important part of your life. Have a thoughtful Thursday everyone.
