Happy New Year's Eve Wednesday morning everyone! It will be pj's, movies, and stay at home. The roads aren't in good shape here with the snow. What are some of your New Year's Day menu favorites? We're having brats and sauerkraut (Bryan's idea) because he says it's good luck for a new year. We're going to go through our blessing jar and I'm going to read the 365 days of gratitude I wrote every day. I'm keeping that tradition. Have a safe new year's eve and a happy Wednesday.

Hello everyone -- Happy New Year! It's the beginning of not only a new year, but of course also a new month. As we always do at the beginning of the month, let's share what we've been stitching on during the past few weeks and what we've recently finished. Post a photo and brief description (pattern name + designer or publisher); if you prefer not to post a photo or it's difficult to do, just tell us in words about your stitching! I wish everyone well in the new year, and hope 2026 brings fulfilling stitching to us all!

This is the story of Gideon, whom God called a mighty man of valor, when he was as chicken hearted as they come. After encountering the Lord, Gideon built an altar and called it Jehovah Shalom. God did go on to use Gideon, to raise up in him a mighty man of valor. Gideon obeyed God and saw the defeat of the Midianites rule over Israel. He also became one of the judges/leaders in Israel who lead them in righteousness. Peace is vital to the human heart. It’s one of the fruits of the Spirit given at rebirth. Jesus came both to bring peace and to give peace. May God’ peace be made known to you, fill you, and be upon you today and all of 2026. Happy New Year!!!

We’re getting ready to ring in the New Year — confetti, cozy vibes, and maybe a few stitches in between! 🎉🧵 We will be closed on New Year’s Day so our team can enjoy the celebration and welcome 2026 with a little rest and sparkle. We’ll be back to normal operations on January 2nd. Myself (Kristi @ ECS) will be out of the office on the 2nd and will return on Monday, the 5th. I will be able to respond to any board posts at that time. While we’re closed, phones and order fulfillment will be paused, and emails sent to customer service may have a delayed response as our staff enjoys the holiday too.
