Good Sunday morning everyone. Sounds like everyone had a quiet day yesterday and that was yesterday at our house, too. Got a lot of stitching done yesterday. Today is leftover meat loaf. I make it in a pie pan so we call it meat loaf pie. It was Bryan's idea to make it like that. It's supposed to be nice today so it will be stitching outside while Bryan fusses with his Camaro. Has anyone else received patterns printed on flimsy low quality paper? The prices have gone up and I understand. What I don't understand is that some designers are allowing their designs to be printed on thin "crummy" paper. I just paid $13.00 for a pattern that I am going to have to put in a plastic sleeve for protection. Many times I stitch using the original. Yes, I can make a copy. Rant over!😂. Just don't get it. Pam

Good Saturday morning everyone. Not much planned today, which is fine with me and after chores it will be stitching and playing the piano a little bit. I've missed doing that, but I have to be in the mood. My favorite are Chopin pieces and Bryan always requests Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata. Its misting out right now and it's good for the garden. News! Today is exactly two weeks since my fall at home! Finally got to see the ortho specialist today. Apparently, they calf muscle filled with blood and they wished I could have been to them earlier (they have had to triple book all appointments for some months). The doctor put a huge syringe into my call and tried to pull out the huge blood there, but it has already clotted and he got out about one cup. He does not think they can pull out more. Ugh. So, I have to call him if I get a fever because it might get infected. There is another 3 cups still there, so keep prayers coming for my leg and me! I see him again in 2 weeks, scared to death. I never ever imagined this could happen from a fall. Hey, at least it isn't my hands. Still stitching some small things, pain level awful. Thanks guys for prayers.
