Gone shopping…
The last 2 in the series of 4…still waiting for the first 2…(supposed to ship tomorrow) I love the drum!
Just a few
Of the photos from the majestic York Minister..!! We spent over an hour and half in there and still didn’t see everything that was there to see! These historic buildings are very difficult to rebuilt. In today’s society people do not have the skills or knowledge on how too rebuild these buildings or know how to use the hand tools that were originally used! This building has its own fire fighter team! In the 1980s there was a fire and due to the skill of a veteran chief fire fighter he made a brave decision and ordered the roof to be collapsed this building was saved! If you look at photo number four these funny little objects that were designed by children and were placed on the new ceiling as a reminder of what was going on in the world during that time. I could go on and on. But please do some research if this interests you and would like more information.

so hard to see
Just ordered Lady Sillouette. The lady (in black) is ok for me to follow but the background with the tree and little blossoms on it is very challenging. Athough I wear 250 reading glasses for all my cross stitching, I found that these glasses may not be enough. I am wondering about magnification. I see these contraptions that are worn around your neck. Will this work for me ? I am wondering if any of you lovely ladies can clue me in on what the best thing to get for this problem I have. I love the pattern and really want to do this !
Bread
Hello all. Another hot day the weather people are saying heat alert heat index 108 to 112 nice and sunny. The other day my husband surprised me with a bread machine been wanting one for a long time. The next day both of us made the recipe 1 lb excitement well it didn't rise but good, day 2 we tried 1.5 loaf again did not rise. Read the manual got out the scale zeroed it out measured more careful yep again rose a tad but not what it's to look like so we tested the yeast it's good. Today we are trying again ,now jack read the manual again saying the water should be 77○ to 85○. I tried to tell him in home ec and marthe steward Julia child and of course Ina garden water should be 110○ but tried to tell jack but he's my the book kind of person so the 4 loaf today I will keep you posted. For those who are young home ec was a mandatory requirement men wood shop. I did enjoy those classes taught me to sew bake set up everything to set a table never used that.
Well my dear frie n ds have a great day
Thank you
Thank you for responding to my problem concerning magnifying glassed. Yes, I will go to stronger reading glasses and also have the chart enlarged. Wonderful !

Contractors
Good morning all. I don't post much, but I'm looking for advice. We are having our kitchen cabinets replaced. There is only 6. They took out walls and only put up this black paper and left hole in other places not being covered by anything. He doesn't want to fix any of it at all, he just wants to put in the new cabinets. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,. Becky

Good Morning
Numbers 3: 11 - 13
11 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
12 '' Now, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the
sons of Israel instead of every firstborn, the firstborn
of the womb among the sons of Israel. So the Levites
shall be Mine.
13 For all the firstborn are Mine; on the day that I fatally struck
all the firstborn in the land of Egypt. I sanctified to Myself
all the firstborn in Israel, from the human firstborn to animals.
They shall be Mine; I am the Lord."
Have A Bless Day!
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SUNDAY
Good Sunday morning everyone. Today may be the last bearable day before the heat wave hits. A quick mowing is in order and some weeding and then next week we'll be watering. My patterns came yesterday and I can stitch the top for the little chest I ordered. I think I'm going to do the one that says "Dream". Wishing everyone a blessed and serene Sunday.
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SATURDAY
Good Saturday morning everyone. Yet another week that went very quickly. Monday is the start of super dangerous heat that will last through next week. We are going to take advantage of the next two heatless days. Tonight we're going to have the first corn on the cob of the year from Georgia. Our Indiana corn isn't ready until early end of July/early August. Stitching on "Lady" and only 4 more short pages to go and the end is in sight! Wishing everyone a good weekend.
