Finished these 2, will give them away at a reunion next month. Trying to finish a cross, and have started a gift for a cousin - she picked out the pattern. About to start another one like the red one but on white Aida in blues.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SATURDAY
Good Saturday morning everyone. Beautiful perfect half moon in the sky this morning, but humid. I love thunderstorms and want one to cool things off. Finished another section of "Rock and Roll" and have two more to go. Hoping for a finish by the end of the month. Not much going on this past week, and it was nice not to have appointments or other errands. Enjoy your weekend!

But now, this is what the Lord says- he who created you Jacob, he who created you Isreal; " Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind FRIDAY
Happy Friday morning everyone. A late start today, but chores are all finished so I can have a day of stitching. Haven't done a whole lot of it lately. We have a few more days of the hot weather and then some pre-fall will be here early next week. Excited about the JCS magazine's fall issue because I want to do their fall season piece. Not much else going on today, so let's have a wonderful Friday.

Aug 2025 WIP (Work In Progress) 'Show and Tell'
Goodbye July, Hello August! It's the first of the month and time to share what we've been working on during the past month or what we've recently completed.
Post a photo and brief description (pattern name + designer or publisher). As always, if you aren't able to post a photo or simply prefer not to, just tell us in words.
Take care, everyone!

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus Christ our Lord.

FINISHED!
This was started back in mid-March and intended to be finished by July 4th. Just didn't happen. For The Love of Cross Stitch is the company and Susana Machado is the designer. I did it on 32 count linen although the pattern calls for one over one on 40 count.
Thank yous for help on this piece go to Pebbles who provided the right shade of DMC 712 when I was in a real spot with lot dyes not matching what I had half way through the project.
To Pam Steine who guessed right that some of my trouble with thread knotting was using too long of a piece of floss!
And thank you to Martzhere for the tip to try railroading to get my stitches straight and help eliminate knots. it worked!!
My DH is very pleased. He picked framing material out and intends to paint it navy blue, I'll post another pic when he has it finished.
