GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SUNDAY
Good Sunday morning everyone. Yesterday we finally got the plants planted, sticks burned, and finished what we need to do in the yard. The hostas will look good in the front, as it faces north and is shady. Still some more work to do, but that was enough for one day. Today is porterhouse steak, mushrooms, and pasta salad and tomorrow a visit to our parents' graves. Have a beautiful day!

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance.
From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth- he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything we do.
Psalm 33: 12-13 NIV
Prayer: Lord, this Memorial Day weekend may we remember the nation which respects and honors it's dead shall ever be respected and honored itself. We remember freedom is not free and that the price of liberty is written in the blood of heroes. May we never forget their sacrifice and may this memory continue to inspire and unite us as a nation. Amen.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SATURDAY
Good Saturday morning everyone. I could see the venus/moon alignment this morning and we have clear, but cold skies here. I'm making spaghetti sauce today and later a quick trip to the store before settling in to stitching. Still haven't done our planting yet. Yesterday was too cold and windy. Hoping everyone has a good long weekend and enjoys their day.
book pattern
my grandson, age 12, is an avid reader. Most of the patterns regarding reading have either flowers or coffee. Neither will do. Any ideas of patterns? Not too big, 8/10 at the largest.
Thank you.

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all-
how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Romans 8 :31-32 NIV
Saturday Potpourri-Peach Cobbler
πππππOkay. One large can peaches in heavy syrup. One box vanilla, yellow or white dry cake mix. One stick butter melted. Cinnamon sugar. One half cup brown sugar. These are the ingredients. You can see this is in a crockpot. Peaches in bottom including liquid. Sprinkle dry cake mix over peaches. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Cinnamon sugar sprinkled over butter. Half cup of brown sugar sprinkled next. Cover and cook on high about 2 and half hours. Your crock pot temp is probably different than mine. It should be golden brown. I use the cheapest box mix and peaches. SO DOGGONE EASY!! Fairly inexpensive. Very very sweet. I have made this at least a half dozen times. Has turned out great every time! I might try to convert to no sugar. Haven't yet!π. Pam
