Happy New Year's Eve Wednesday morning everyone! It will be pj's, movies, and stay at home. The roads aren't in good shape here with the snow. What are some of your New Year's Day menu favorites? We're having brats and sauerkraut (Bryan's idea) because he says it's good luck for a new year. We're going to go through our blessing jar and I'm going to read the 365 days of gratitude I wrote every day. I'm keeping that tradition. Have a safe new year's eve and a happy Wednesday.

We’re getting ready to ring in the New Year — confetti, cozy vibes, and maybe a few stitches in between! 🎉🧵 We will be closed on New Year’s Day so our team can enjoy the celebration and welcome 2026 with a little rest and sparkle. We’ll be back to normal operations on January 2nd. Myself (Kristi @ ECS) will be out of the office on the 2nd and will return on Monday, the 5th. I will be able to respond to any board posts at that time. While we’re closed, phones and order fulfillment will be paused, and emails sent to customer service may have a delayed response as our staff enjoys the holiday too. I LOVE this pattern! A great message! Has anyone stitched this, and can you recommend alternate colors, such as with variegated type floss (Weeks Dye Works, etc.), and a color for the fabric? I haven't stitched in a while, and don't completely trust my ability to wing it and have it come out looking good, lol. Thanks, and Happy New Year!!!

I LOVE this pattern and saying! But, I think the tan is a bit too muted and and the blues a bit too dark to make it really stand out. Has anyone used different colors of floss, and how did you like the results? Thanks, and Happy New Year!!!

Good Tuesday morning everyone. The wind has died down, but it's very cold this morning and we have to go out to Bryan's annual eye doctor appointment. 2026 is going to be a year where we reschedule all appointments for the spring, summer, or fall. These winter appointments are not fun. Finished page 2 of my mermaid yesterday, watched a few "Father Knows Best" reruns and finished 6 loads of laundry because of all the dog blankets.
