Good Sunday morning everyone. We are expecting high winds again today and snow tomorrow. Today we're going to finish watching some more Clint Eastwood movies and just relax before tomorrow's surgery. I am going to stitch on the dragonfly from the JCS magazine and try to keep my mind off what's coming up tomorrow. Have a relaxing Sunday.

I love linen fabric BUT I get lost in the stitches and I'm 68 years old but 28 is OK but it doesn't work is there any helpful hints for this young haha woman thanks

Here is my labor of love that I worked on the last 3 winters. The Birth of Venus pattern I had custom made. She was stitched on a uncut piece of linen that was a pillow kit I had in my stash. She is 40" long and now I am on the hunt for a frame.

Been so busy! The sisters-in-law loved their perpetual calendars, and I finally finished my husband's Christmas present. Better late than never, right?! I added the rod and line because they weren't on the pattern. Here's a photo:

Good Saturday morning everyone. I finished "Floral Butterfly" yesterday and today Bryan will frame it up and then it's a trip to UPS to ship. I'll start the dragonfly pattern from JCS magazine for my new niece, who loves dragonflies. Eventually I'll get back to my full coverage projects. Today is last minute shopping for what Bryan will need after his surgery. We have a lot to do before Monday, but we'll get it accomplished. Have a satisfying Saturday and good weekend.

Good Friday the 13th morning everyone. May today be your lucky day! Yes, much improvement with blood work results yesterday and the good cholesterol went up significantly! The bad....well...it improved. Today we are doing the last minute shopping before Bryan's surgery and I made him a protein powder smoothie yesterday, which he enjoyed and I'm making his favorite potato soup, which will go through the blender. Also cleaning everything in sight that needs it. Still, today I will finish "Floral Butterfly" and hope to get it to UPS tomorrow. Finally, we're expecting another arctic blast over the weekend into Monday. UGH. Have a fabulous Friday!
