Hello, All!!
I’m still in Washington! Not going to Florida, husband has prostate cancer. My sister lives with us ‘bout 4 years now. That’s the briefest update ever!!
Ok, I wonder if y’all could help me: I am gearing up to do a large piece pictured below. The finished measurements should be
21.5” x 14.5”. My Aida cloth is 30” x 36”. Can someone help me figure out how much the margin is?? Can’t for the LIFE of me figure it out!!
Thanks!!
Christmas word tree
A size would be helpful!!!! count of fabric and stitch count...thanks
Poor George…
According to the instructions, George’s hair is Simply Shaker, mountain mist….or DMC 647…I could be wrong …but I don’t think George had green hair…. I would normally not question the choices of the designer…but I can’t live with a green haired George Washington…I’m thinking Weeks Dye Works…confederate grey…instead…(mostly because I have it)
Weeks on the right…mountain mist on the left…
Size of pattern
I'm still very confused even after reading some of the other chats about whether or not all six of these will fit on a 15x18 14ct. Aida It does not appear that they can all fit and which direction the pattern should be laid. What am I missing? Thks

Back from the framer’s
All done and ready to give my dd- she will be here for a visit on the 22nd and I will be going back to Canada with her for a couple of weeks- can’t wait! Don’t know if you heard but a group of Minnesota residents showed up at the Canadian border wearing red and white and waving Canadian flags in support of Canada staying exactly as it is, and protesting against the idea of it becoming the 51st state ( as ludicrous as that is) It was heartwarming to see this act of friendship between our two countries🤍. PS- plus 30 celcius outside today- hard to find a glare free spot to take a photo😜

Here’s George….
Well…his feathers, and part of his hat..
Decided 2 over 2….so I could seek the oatmeal floss….
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SATURDAY
Good Saturday morning everyone. Got a big birthday surprise last night when Fedex knocked on the door and delivered a small chest freezer! I've wanted one of those for a long while. Today will be a quiet day hanging around the cottage. Bryan is also installing a new American flag for the front of the house, too. Have a super Saturday!

Glad to hear that you had a nice Day and rec'd what you were looking for
