(Not a great picture but you can kind of make out the type of frame by the connection in the corner) I have 2 scroll frames, one handed down from my mom, one I found at a second hand store, both have the type of rids thst are split down the center to keep the fabric in place. I have 2 issues, one is that the rods won't stay tight against the middle of the fabric, making it slack while the edges are taut. The other is that the wingnuts used to tighten the rods dig into my skin when I rest it against myself. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix these issues. Will the wooden knobs help or will they be too big? The wingnuts are on the back of the frame. I don't want to use any plastic products if possible. While I'm here I may as well also ask; does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep my arms, wrists, and fingers from getting tired and hurting? Unfortunately I'm only 26 and disabled. This craft has given me something that makes me feel accomplished, but I find my arms, wrists, and fingers getting painful after a bit. Does anyone have any tips for me on how to prevent this? I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to put this, I'm brand new to this site!

Aida (over 1 or over 2?) Any help would be greatly appreciated! 😊

Happy Friday morning everyone. It actually hit 87 degrees yesterday and the air conditioner came on. I think spring might have finally arrived. Need to call and make sure air conditioner is up to the job this summer. Another busy day ahead and hope we can actually relax this weekend. Have a fabulous day!

Good Thursday morning everyone. Mid-80s temps coming and today were taking the 2002 Camaro in for air conditioning service. It wont last long because we'll be back in the mid 60's soon. The living room deep clean is finished and after we drop the car off its stitching on "The Queen of Hearts". I am almost finished with page 1 and I'm enjoying the colors I chose.
