A schoolgirl sampler that exemplifies the distinctive style indicative of the Mary Balch School, from the architectural arrangement to the moral sentiments expressed right down to the authentic stitches used.

Counted cross stitch pattern. Stitch count: 183 x 214. Model stitched on 25ct Raw Dublin linen using DMC floss. The chart is in black and white symbols (some color) with colored backstitch lines. Design includes full stitches, quarter stitches, petite stitches and backstitching.
