Border Collie in the Hillsa Cross Stitch Pattern by Artecy Cross Stitch

I do like the picture, rather than just the collie. However, I found it frustrating, having so many single stitches of very similar colours. Hard to calculate which stitches still to be completed. At one point I gave up and just used 5 or so of the main colours for that small area and it still looked fine. There are 65 colours used in this pattern.

I love doing animal patterns. Border Collies are my favourite as I have one.
