The pages are sturdy, and not overly glossy so a pencil can mark off stitches. It took me a minute to find the middle of the pattern; the pages were not well labeled. I had to keep referencing the title page for reference. The pattern is easy to read and the booklet is well assembled. The booklet is sturdy and isn't too cumbersome to have nearby while stitching.

I did this birth announcement twice, for 2 granddaughters. When I got the kit in 2014, I don’t recall the instruction pattern being difficult to follow. This time the instructions were in a booklet….and really hard to follow, as you had to find the correct pages to match up and continue the picture. I could not cut and tape together, which would have resolved the problem, because the pattern was on both sides of the paper. Loved the final product but the instructions need to be redone.

It looked to be a cute pattern. I feel I am a fairly good cross stitch person. I have not started it yet though for when I got it I have come to find out that instead of it being only on one complete sheet it is divided into SIX pages. WAY MORE complicated than anticipated. Even I will need help figuring this out.

Pattern was what I expected. Price was good. Shipping was excellent. I could see where my order was and when I could expect it. My only problem was I didn't realize it didn't come with thread. My mistake. I will order again.
