Outstanding PDF pattern. Buy this!
I'm a professional writer about stitchery. I've also taught extensively, lectured and judged quilt and stitchery shows for over forty years. I say this to explain my depth of knowledge of stitchery patterns. If you make it with a needle, I understand the patterns. Here is my assessment of the new Everything Cross Stitchery PDF patterns. I downloaded Camelot Sampler by Teresa Wentzler and printed it out.
First, at $7.99, the price was a bargain. I've paid a lot more and received less quality plenty of times.
The thing that really knocked my socks off was the black and white pattern. While the grid was the standard 10-to-the-inch, the grid size was 2-inches square instead of 1-inch. I was able to actually see each symbol without effort. And I have beginning glaucoma, so not straining to see the pattern was sheer joy.
The cover page featured a large picture of the pattern that was clear and precise in full color. (I have a Epson ET- 3800 printer.)
Three detailed pages of directions with large diagrams came next.
The pattern was on twenty-one 8.5 x 11 inch pages. While some of you will gasp at this number, remember that the color symbols are visible without squinting!
In summation, this order was a test for me. And I'm overjoyed.
Other companies should pay attention to this format.
There are more Everything Cross Stitch PDF patterns on my must purchase list. Now all I have to do is figure out how to cram more hours in my day.
Kudos to EverythingCrossStitch.com. You've done everything right!
