Colors
I started stitching today. I am concerned that the colors are to dark. Please tell me I have nothing to worry about. I am still on the first page.

Ready to start
I have the Fabric and the floss, and the pattern printed. So I'm ready to start. I guess what I'm wondering. I'm starting the the upper left hand corner. Is it better to work down or across?

Since this peace is so big I am guessing a piece that is 30x36 will work. Is there a big enough piece of easy count fabric that I can use for this?

Magic
Wow what a beautiful picture. Is the child in Santa's lap a boy or a girl? This might be the biggest picture I've ever done but I guess its worth it for family.
